Adhere long square Vogue

I have my lovely friend rachel here today and i thought id just grab her and um utilize her hands for the new long coffin folks square vogues, not long coffin, sorry, and so i will show you, how were gon na adhere one, so you guys can see Um and ill just show you a little bit of a close up of the different um. The tips themselves so youll find that with the long squares, these tips are considerably sturdier and thicker and then the shorter ones um and they need to. They need that thickness and that strength um due to the length so but youll find because of that sturdiness and that thickness, if i turn them over, if you have a look at the thickness of the tip all the way through um to the apex um that Strength and stability is needed to make sure that these nails last, but due to that strength and durability, you might find that if the apex is in the right spot, you might not need to necessarily do a float coat over the top of these and so thats A big plus, and obviously, if that apex is not in the right spot for that clients nail bit um, you would still have to make that adjustment based on the client sitting in front of you, as you would with all of the shapes um. But these are really really um good sturdy. Dont have to worry about it too much if the apex is in the right spot, okay, so thats what the tip looks like and so what ive done um so far is we obviously prepped these nails? Um, we applied um, two coats of sticky bond um, a base coat of plastic, so you can see on this nail here and we did a full cure of 60 seconds on that in our pn speciality dual cure and then ive adhered the other um tips to The fingers already so you can see your full hand once were done.

Um ill show you what my prep tip looks like so um. I obviously etch up the inside with my i personally love my little cuticle away, ball bits, and so let me just grab it. So i use my cuticle white ball bits um, but you are more than welcome to use um your mandrel with sanding bands and to etch up the inside of the tips. And then i love to do a coat of sticky bond to the inside of the tips. Because that just helps to chemically edge it. So if ive missed any areas – and that will just ensure that the tip will stay attached – and we wont get any detachment now – because these tips are a little bit thicker and i find that they can be a little bit chunky around the cuticle area, sometimes so Ill show you this one here: sorry where i havent pre filed it um, so they tend to be just a little bit thicker, just because the entire tip is that tad thicker, and so what i do with them is i just pre file the tips around the Cuticle area, which means that it just makes the blending of that tip so much easier, and if i do that before um, if i file this area before and i go in and i adhere this tip and that filed area once you go in with your alcohols, Your acetone swipe, oh lots of tongue, ties today.

Sorry guys, once you go in with your acetone swipe, you will find that the acetone will blend this area a lot faster than the other areas which will help to make the blending um much easier when it comes to getting that cuticle, nice and flush. So etch. The inside pop some sticky bond on pre, etch or pre blend the outside, and so that thats ready to go for my application and makes it a little bit easier when it comes to actually blending that tip into the area. Now i personally always get my client to help me with my application process and so rachels got our mini. Um led uh lamp ready to go um and when i give her the indication she will hold it over so that we can flash cure that nail into place youre more than welcome to. If you are able to do this and obviously apply this with one hand and then use your lamp um to flash cure that tip into place um, you could also do it like this and gradually move your thumb. I personally dont love doing it that way. Um! I find that im applying a little bit too much pressure, so i find that um. I have spillage of my elastic onto um the clients, skin or outside of the tip area, and i also find that if i dont pay great attention whilst doing that that the tips dont necessarily go on straight. So i personally just always get my client to help me, so i make sure that im placing the tip with the gap that i want at the back and applying it correctly, aligning it and not flattening that tip too much and pushing the elastic out of the Area so and thats the reason why i prefer to just get my client to help me with it.

You can do whatever works best for you, um im, just explaining to you why rachel will be holding the lamp over whilst im adhering my tips so im going to go in and just do a little thin coat of elastic over the area where weve etched it And then im just going to do a little dollop of love in the cuticle area, so that will help to fill my apex of my tip im going to go in at a 45 degree angle and maintaining a small gap um away from the cuticle. I dont want to push that tip up against that cuticle because um we could have product overexposure and it just makes it harder to blend them plus, and you get quite a big ridge when that nail starts growing out, and so we do maintain that small gap Between the cuticle and the tip and im rocking that tip down onto the nail pushing that air bubble forward and once im happy with that, i get rachel to just flash cure it for me now you could be using what were using here today, which is our Mini led um lamp. The great thing with this lamp is its rechargeable um, so you dont youre, not relying on um aaa batteries, but obviously you also have the option to do the torch and to do exactly the same thing. So here they are all beautifully adhered, and so these are the planet, vogue, long squares.

Oh sorry, thank you and adhered to rachels beautiful, lovely hands, um yeah, so i just wanted to give you a quick sneak of what they look like what they look like on and just a few tips and tricks on application. So, oh and quickly so now, im going to shoot myself in the foot for doing this, but look at this baby and this is our upgraded um, pn, portable um e file. So im sure you all know the pn portable um number two um, which is this one here. Some of you might have the one with the updated um logo on like this, and we love this e file, its an amazing e file. But there were a few things that um, you guys have told us that youre not 100 happy with um one being um the button control with the e file so the up down and which you know there is the option of holding the button down. And then it goes up in five interval: um intervals, um, but um. We have had a lot of people. Give us feedback on that, saying that they dont enjoy this aspect of it um. So we have launched it with a knob, so the knobs back um. So for you guys who knew the pn portable one and that loved the knob of it, this ones back the um, speed, control and on off is now on the twist lock um button and and my absolute favorite feature of this e file is it has a Play pause button now, so what the ply pause button does is when you switch it on and you have it at full speed and you need it to stop to lets, say: grab a cuticle nipper to um change, um to nip some skin off and thats.

In your way, and you didnt have to you, wouldnt have to switch it down all the way you could have it at full speed. Leave it at full speed press your play, pause button, put it down or if you needed to change bits, you could just grab um the different bit pop it in sorry and then just play press your play button and its back up to that same speed already. So thats a brilliant feature and we also opted to um change the clasp back to a metal clasp, and it just makes it a little bit sturdier on your desk and its also a lot sturdier when youre using it portable. So the actual handpiece, the actual unit itself, is exactly the same, its just a cosmetic change in the sense of the speed control button and the play pause button and then obviously a metal clip at the back. So just a quick sneak peek for you guys um. These, as far as i know, daniellas putting them live on the website right now, um. We literally just got them um 10 minutes ago. So you get to see everything first as it comes through. I hope you guys have a lovely day.
